April 2025 has delivered a spectacular start to the season here at Carbis Bay Lodge. While April typically brings mild temperatures to Cornwall, this year has been exceptional.
The UK experienced its sunniest April since records began in 1910, with 47% more sunshine hours than average. Temperatures soared, with the highest reaching 26.7°C on April 30 in Surrey .
