Wellness
Whether you want spa time, gentle movement, or a simple break by the sea, Carbis Bay and St Ives are made for slowing down. Below are a few of our favourite wellness ideas, from hot tubs and saunas to yoga, sea dips, and calm coastal walks. We add new finds as we discover them.
Hot tubs

Sink into the private hot tub at sunset and let the day slow down. Warm water, quiet skies and fresh coastal air make it an easy reset for up to 8 guests after a beach walk. Available year-round to Carbis Bay Lodge guests.
Massage

Enjoy facials, massages and body treatments at Una Spa, plus grooming for hands, feet, brows and lashes. There are options for men and mini facials for children too. Treatments use natural oils. Carbis Bay Lodge guests receive 20% off spa treatments.
Saunas

Unwind in the Una St Ives sauna, then switch to the steam room for a deeper warm-up. Finish with time in the public Jacuzzi for gentle bubbles and a relaxed reset after a day out.
Hot & cold contrast therapy

Try hot and cold contrast therapy at Mor Holan Sauna on Porthminster Beach by warming up in the wood-fired sauna, then cooling down with a cold dip before repeating for a calm, reset feeling.
Yoga

St Ives Yoga runs regular classes and courses in St Ives, with booking and a timetable online.
C Bay Studio at Carbis Bay Hotel hosts weekly sessions led by resident teacher Kate Dove, with classes open to all levels.
For a wider mix of yoga and wellbeing sessions, Showcase in St Ives offers studio and livestream classes and occasional events.
St Ives Leisure Centre also lists pilates and yoga among its mind and body classes.
